Draft Debut of Straffe Hendrick Quadrupel

“A black beer which – by nosing – gave some delicious roasty-spicy-hoppy-vanilla flavours.  Tasting confirmed the nose, and some additional great characteristics were noticed. The roasty malts are quite impressive.  The combination liquorice, dark candy sugar, roasty malts, and the use of a rich portion of fresh hops makes this beer leaning towards a sweetish Baltic Porter.  I’m quite amazed by it’s mouth feeling. People, this beer is so velvety soft on the tongue. Amazing really.  Tasting surprisingly doesn’t give a heavy – too dense – liquid. In this case this beer has a much more pleasant – lighter – mouth feeling.
In other words: Dangerous drinkable.”  quote from belgianbeerboard.com
